Eventful days leading to great experiences.

The last two days have been very interesting and trying at the same time, firstly having flu which hit me yesterday was not a great because it made everything feel bigger than it was.

On Tuesday night I was priviledged to be able to attend a private screening of the Dark Knight Rises hosted by MTN after they launched the Nokia Lumia 900! We were at the Cine Prive at Rosebank mall where they had organised a photobooth which I took advantage of as you can see below. The cinema is awesome as well had lazy boy type chairs that reclined making you feel like you were at home watching the movie in pure luxury. The movie was awesome, I loved the action scenes and the futuristic styling of the gadgetry was inspiring as soon we will all have that sort of stuff !

Then last night I was invited to the MTN App of the Year 2012 awards, which was a great event, showcasing some the awesome talent that my fellow South African’s have when it comes to app development. The judges pre-selected the top 3 apps per category and then we as the audience had to vote on keypads for the winner which was a fun way to ensure that the voting was driven by us, the users of the applications. There were some interesting apps that were in the top 3 but all in right mind great contributors to the market that we are faced with in this digital era! I also got the cutest little Batman USB drive as part of the goodie bags that MTN gave us for supporting the event! I must just congratulate FNB on Winning best application for Blackberry, Android and iOS categories and for winning the overall title of Best App of 2012. They really are at the forefront of banking with this innovation, and I would know because i bank with them:) This is a little snap of the entrance to the awards with MTN’s signature yellow carpet.

Its going to be strange tonight not having anything to do lol, listen to me acting like I am this high society socialite. Have a great day peeps until later!
